Traits
90%+ (Pure Seer)
A trait used to specify Pure Seers that have a seeing percentage of 90%+.
-
- This is the highest range of potential for a seer to have. Because it is fairly uncommon, even among Unicorns, it is practically guaranteed an individual with this much potential will be chosen to train for the Luminary/Advisor position.
- Even without training, creatures with this much potential would likely be able to trigger visions at their own discretion; however, may have difficulty stopping the visions or not triggering them. The overwhelming nature of such would practically force a cat to train to control them if the clan’s culture did not already.
- In a weaker-born generation, the most powerful Pure Seer may not even have this strong potential
This amount of seeing potential cannot be obtained without permission.
70 - 89% (Pure Seer)
A trait used to specify Pure Seers that have a seeing percentage of 70% to 89%.
-
- This is a fairly large amount of potential for a creature to have, although it isn't as uncommon for Unicorns/Unicorn hybrids. While they will not be able to control their visions without training, they will occasionally receive minor visions or dreams. These focus on minor instances in time, often no more than a few seconds at a time, and rarely include other individuals. With time and training, it is easy for these individuals to improve their seeing skills and control them.
51 - 69% (Pure Seer)
A trait used to specify Pure Seers that have a seeing percentage of 51% to 69%.
-
- Most Pure Seers who are not Unicorns fall under this range. While having a higher seeing potential is not exactly uncommon, this is the average for many. Without training, these individuals do not naturally have visions, they often have gut feelings that guide them in the right direction. If they focus, they may be able to trigger one of these feelings, though not always.
45 - 50% (Half Seer)
A trait used to specify Half Seers that have a seeing percentage of 45% to 50%.
-
- This is the highest range of potential for a Half Seer and is fairly uncommon for typically Half Seeing species. These Half Seers have the unique opportunity to apply for the Luminary/Advisor positions as well.
- Much like low-potential Pure Seeing creatures, without training, these individuals may often get gut feelings guiding them on what to do, though no actual visions. They will still have to work hard to master visions, but will have the most powerful and technical ones of any potential Half Seer if this can be accomplished.
25 - 44% (Half Seer)
A trait used to specify Half Seers that have a seeing percentage of 25% to 44%.
-
- This is the average range of potential for a Half Seer.
- Much like low-potential Pure Seeing creatures, without training, these individuals may sometimes get gut feelings guiding them on what to do, though no actual visions. They will still have to work very hard to master visions, and may never quite get them as powerfully as a Pure Seer or even a higher percentage Half Seer.
1 - 24% (Half Seer)
A trait used to specify Half Seers that have a seeing percentage of 1% to 24%.
-
- Few are born in the Kingdom of Lumin with potential this low, and it is typically considered a genetic anomaly that is generally uncommon in modern bloodlines.
- Half Seers with such low potential are strongly dissuaded from attempting to train their skills, and even if they start doing so, they rarely finish. Despite this, several well-regarded historical figures have had low seeing potential and found great success in other fields, especially technology. Because of this, these individuals are still respected in the Kingdom for their humble beginnings and their potential outside of seeing.
- They may still get a whiff of a sixth sense from time to time, but individuals with this potential generally don't experience much outside of the very occasional gut feeling.
This amount of seeing potential cannot be obtained without permission.
